The style of the wedding
The style of the wedding was classy and elegant. Romance was all over the decoration and everything was harmonically blended. The dress and the bride’s shoes were classy.
The preparations
Maria & Tasos chose a great location for their preparations as bride and groom. It was the Bristol hotel in the center of Thessaloniki. This hotel is special because it has a really characteristic interior design which reminds you of Belle Epoque. It really stands out and is ideal for elegant weddings. Through my lens, I tried to show every little detail which would blend with the wedding. As you’ll see from the preparation photos many details and locations were used for the photoshoot.
Wedding in Thessaloniki
Wedding in Thessaloniki is always a great idea. The couple lives in Sweden but they chose the place where they were born to make their orthodox wedding. The wedding took place in Moni Vlatadon Monastery. During the ceremony I always want to shoot in a discreet way, capturing all the moments with a photojournalistic touch. The lightning in the church is really low and this creates a peaceful atmosphere.
Reception at Allegro Restaurant
After the ceremony we made our wedding photoshoot at Thessaloniki Concert Hall. This is a really great location and one of the most famous of the city. The architecture really matches the elegant style of the wedding as you will see from the wedding photos. The wedding venue was Allegro Restaurant. It’s an ideal wedding venue for intimate weddings. Offers a great view of Thessaloniki and is famous for its great service. The couple made their entrance and the party started!
