Jim & Fanouria is a couple from Santorini that wanted simply the best for their wedding day. They decided to tie the knot in the world’s number 1 island. And for sure, their decision was the best they could have made.
Destination wedding in Santorini
We travelled to this amazing location to cover the wedding day of the couple. Upon our arrival we wanted to capture some photojournalistic moments of the island. That’s something I always want to do for destination weddings. That’s the best way to let the couple see and feel the vibe of the location that their wedding took place. We went to Oia , Fira and Firostefani . We wanted also to do some location scouting for the wedding day and the post wedding session. The results are breathtaking.

Planning Your Wedding: Step by Step
Embarking on your Santorini wedding journey involves meticulous planning. From legalities to choosing the perfect venue and catering, our guide covers it all. Make your wedding day in Santorini a seamless affair. Along with the couple we had continuous contact and planned the day months ago. I always want to be sure that everything will be according to plan and not let anything stress the couple.
The wedding day
The wedding day was full of love, joy and amazing vibes. We started the day with the groom’s preparation. The preparation took place in Pnoe Luxury Suites – an amazing resort with a really nice view. Along with his friends the whole preparation was more like a party – and that’s exactly what I want to achieve the wedding day. To be there discreetly and capture the real moments.
Next, we went to the bride’s preparation. Friends from all over the world were by the bride’s side and the whole group was simply stunning. The bride had just finished her make up and hair and we started capturing the process of getting ready. Elegant and classy shots combined with more vivid ones, in order to achieve that real style. After she put her gorgeous gown we were ready for the ceremony.
Wedding ceremony at Fira
The ceremony took place in an orthodox church at Fira – Church of Agios Gerasimos. This is an amazing wedding location with a really great view. After the ceremony was over we made our photoshoot in Firostefani. What a place to make the same day wedding photoshoot. With the bridemaid and the best man by their side the photoshoot was simply amazing.
Wedding reception at Pyrgos Restaurant
The reception took place in a wonderful venue – Pyrgos Restaurant which is located in the center of the island near the port. The view was stunning and the night was long. The set up was lovely and all the guests were amazed. The couple made their entrance with accompanied by a violin player and right after that a great firework show just started! What a way to celebrate your love.
The dinner was served and once we were done it was party time! Alcohol, cool vibes, TikTok trends, selfies and so much more to add on this amazing day.
Post wedding photoshoot in Santorini
The day after the wedding we wanted to add a bit more magic to the final result. That’s why we made an after wedding session. We went to some amazing locations during the golden hour. Oia and Imerovigli were some of the places we chose. The results speak for themselves. What a closure to this destination wedding in Santorini.
