Wedding in Thessaloniki and Halkidiki

Babis and Artemis got married during COVID-19. As a result, their original plans changed. But what they managed to do was take creative advantage of this whole situation.

Intimate wedding in Greece

What they did was build a wedding in the style of an intimate wedding. With a limited number of people and infinite organization / imagination they created a special wedding based on their needs and desires. There were many changes – but what I emphasise with each of my collaborations is that when there is the right organization and consultation with all the vendors the best results can be achieved. So the guys set up a unique wedding, perfectly adapted to the new standards.

Babis’s preparation took place in Kalamaria in Thessaloniki. All the dear friends and relatives gathered there where they helped him get ready but most of all to have a good time. Alcohol and good mood were enough to make us laugh and have a great time.

Artemis’ preparation was also done in Kalamaria where friends, relatives and best man gave it to her to understand! Initially, the first impression was TOP! What better way to wait for the bride with tequila shots? Well, then you know that the wedding will be awesome! So we started with a full positive mood our photos that really showed how beautifully everyone had and had fun. The vibes and all the aura in the house was great. That alone is enough to make you enjoy the wedding even more as a photographer. The continuation is shown in the pictures below.

As a wedding photographer, I always analyze my couple and understand their needs. This is what I want to get in my final result. True characters, happy, that authentic moments will make them reminisce about these beautiful memories. We meet the kids from the gym where I go and it is one of the most popular in town, Warehouse 7.

The wedding in the beautiful church of Agios Georgios in Krini

The wedding took place in the Chapel of Agios Neomartyros Georgios from Krini. It is definitely one of the churches that I recommend as a wedding photographer to do your wedding. In front of the sea with a view of the whole coastal Thessaloniki. It gives the feeling of being married on an island without having to leave Thessaloniki. Despite the hot day, there was a very cool atmosphere on the spot. The images were awesome, sunny, bright and full of beautiful moments.

Lavender themed wedding

The whole theme of the wedding was set around lavender. The invitation, the church decoration, the colors and many more elements were all around the lavender. A summer flower with a timeless and beautiful aroma.

Party at Whope – Same Day Slideshow on mobile

The night took off with the party that followed at Whope. Whope is a special bar in Thessaloniki and not a classic place to have your wedding reception. But that is what made the difference. We had a fantastic time at a bar in the city center. The surprises were one after another. The groomsmen had brought a surprise gift to the couple, a wedding cake from Jerry’s Foodtruck. While everyone was having fun, I prepared the same day slideshow.

This is a video I prepare at the reception with photos from the same wedding day. I create a story that I share with all the guests and the couple. It is perhaps the most powerful supply as it has a huge impact all over the world. It is shown at the reception in a projector with music that suits the couple. In this particular wedding, however, we did not have the opportunity for a projector. So I shared it through a platform with all the guests and the couple on their cell phones. Everyone was excited!

Next day photography in Afitos

After the beautiful experience of the wedding day we continued to have a good time for another day. We organized our photography in Afitos, Halkidiki. Sun, sea and piggy banks. We all dedicated a day together for our next day photography. There we took a nice walk starting from some wedding photos on the beautiful balcony with the awesome view of the house and the garden. We continued in various places in Athytos such as its center and its beach.
